Timing and shipping

After you order, we send you a design proof by email or WhatsApp. We make your knife roll in about 3 days after you approve it, then ship it from Colombia with a tracking number.

Any shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay. Import duties and taxes in your country, if any, are paid on delivery. See shipping and returns.

Payment

Where we engrave it

Two places, both included: the outside of the roll, between the two straps, and the inside flap that folds over the knife handles. Engrave one, the other, or both. The straps can match the case or be in another tone.

The knife roll

  • Small: 45 × 36 cm open, 6 knives
  • Large: 76 × 52 cm open, 7 knives including the flat pocket, with a shoulder strap
  • A small hole at the top of each pocket to push each knife out easily
  • Rolls up and closes with two leather straps

The leather

Real leather, cut and stitched by hand in our workshop in Colombia. Choose tan, dark brown or black for the case, and a matching or contrasting tone for the straps.

The engraving

We laser engrave straight into the leather, so it won't peel or rub off. Engrave the outside, the inside flap or both, at no extra cost. You approve a design proof before we engrave anything.

Looking after it

Wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth, without soap or chemicals, and let it dry naturally away from direct heat. Put knives away clean and dry. Every few months, feed the leather with our leather care grease.

Natural leather

Made to last, and to age well.

Every hide has its own grain, tones and small marks. They're part of real leather, not faults, and they make each knife roll unique. With use, the leather darkens and softens into a patina that's yours alone. The preview is a guide: the real tone varies from piece to piece.

If your knife roll arrives faulty, or isn't what we agreed in your proof, send us a photo and we'll repair it, remake it or refund you. See shipping and returns.

Questions, answered.

Which size should I choose?

The small case holds 6 kitchen knives and is 45 × 36 cm open. The large case holds 7, including a flat pocket for a cleaver, steel or tongs, is 76 × 52 cm open and comes with a shoulder strap. Not sure your knives fit? Send us their lengths on WhatsApp.

Can I engrave the outside and the inside?

Yes, both are included in the price. Put a name or phrase on the outside, between the straps, and a name, phrase or logo on the inside flap.

Can the straps be a different colour?

Yes. Choose the tone of the case and the tone of the straps separately when you design it.

Will I see my design before you make it?

Yes. Before we engrave it, we send you a design proof by email or WhatsApp. We only start once you approve it.

How do I send my logo?

Pick "+ Image or logo", then "Your own", to see it on the case. After you add it to your cart, send us the original file on WhatsApp or by email. Don't have one? Choose one of our ideas, or "Create one for me" and tell us what you'd like.

Can I return a personalised knife roll?

Because each knife roll is made to order with your personalisation, we can't accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives faulty or isn't what we agreed in your proof, we'll put it right. See shipping and returns.
