This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use virtualleather.net or order from us, why we collect it and what your rights are. We collect only what we need to make and deliver your order.

Who is responsible for your data

Virtual Leather Intl (Daniel Guanes) is the data controller. Contact: danielguanes@virtualleather.info. TODO (owner): add the business address, and confirm the country where the business is established. This decides which data protection law applies (for example UK GDPR).

We don't sell your personal data. We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked us to, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

International transfers

Our products are made in Colombia, and some of our service providers are based in the USA and other countries. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards. These include adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses used by our providers, or the transfer being necessary to perform your contract.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. TODO (owner): confirm the period, for example 6 years in the UK. We delete sizing details, logos and design files when they are no longer needed for your order or any repeat order you ask for. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
