Terms & conditions
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. Who we are
virtualleather.net is operated by Virtual Leather Intl ("Virtual Leather", "we", "us"). TODO (owner): add the legal entity type, registered/business address and, if any, company number and VAT number.
Contact: danielguanes@virtualleather.info, WhatsApp +44 7552 809738.
2. These terms
These terms apply to orders placed on this website. Please read them, along with our shipping, returns & refunds policy and privacy policy, before ordering. Orders placed on Etsy are governed by Etsy's terms as well.
3. Ordering and our contract
When you place an order, you'll receive an automatic email confirming we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we accept your order. We do this by sending you your design proof or an order confirmation. We may decline an order, for example if a personalisation request can't be made or breaks these terms. If we do, we'll refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Shipping costs, and any taxes we're required to charge, are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at checkout by our secure payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
5. Personalisation and design proofs
- You're responsible for the text, images and logos you send us. You confirm you have the right to use them, including any trademarks.
- We engrave text exactly as supplied, so please check spelling, capitals and accents.
- We send a design proof before production. Once you approve it, we make the item as shown in the proof.
- We may refuse content that is offensive, unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
- The online designer is a preview. The final layout is the one in your approved proof.
6. Sizing and natural materials
We make aprons to the height and weight you give us, so please make sure these are correct. Leather is a natural material, so colour, grain and markings vary between pieces and may look slightly different from photos.
7. Delivery
We ship worldwide with tracking. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Customs processing can add time. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.
8. Returns, faults and refunds
See our shipping, returns & refunds policy. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
9. Photos of your order
We'd love to show our work. We only publish photos of your finished item on our website or social media with your permission. We remove them if you ask us to.
10. Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Governing law
TODO (owner): state which country's law governs these terms (for example England and Wales). This depends on where the business is registered. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on this page when you placed it.
